AAD Truck and Bus (a trading name of Associated Automotive Distributors (PTY) LTD) had been a franchised dealer for UD Trucks Southern Africa (formally Nissan Diesel SA) for 18 years.
We are proud to have a strong Black ownership base and are constantly on the lookout for opportunities to procure more from BEE companies and to improve our scorecard points by whole heartedly supporting the governments BEE initiatives. At present we are a LEVEL 4 supplier and we aim to improve on this. AAD Truck and Bus has grown into UD’s largest dealer in the Western Cape and now incorporate a spray painting and body business (AAD Coachworks) and a UD service dealership in Worcester. AAD employs just over 100 staff many of whom who have been with the company for many.
AAD head office and the main dealership is conveniently located in Epping, in Western Province Park (next door to the Grand West Casino). We are a short distance from either the NI or N2 and 15 minutes from the centre of Cape Town.
We offer a full complement of UD Truck models across the medium, heavy and extra heavy commercial vehicle range –all of them engineered developed and rigorously tested to meet the harsh operating conditions found in South Africa. Sales figures of UD vehicles speak for themselves and depending which mass group you are looking at you can be assured UD will be close to be one of the best sellers in the market.
Our R2m of parts stock ensures that backup is always available – 24/7 and of course that applies to our service division. A fully equipped, 7 double bay workshops with 12 qualified technicians is the pride of our business which when coupled to UDs 24 hour roadside assistance programme makes sure we are there when your vehicle needs us.
